Time Well Spent

We are all spending more time at home during this pandemic event. This has caused me to reflect on time in general. Does it feel like you have more time? Or less - because of all the chaos of having the whole family under one roof? Some days go by very slowly because of the monotony and other days fly by from one activity to another. I'm trying to be more intentional with how I spend my time because I want to make the most of this unprecedented situation. But with so many competing activities - like reading a new book on your Kindle, watching a TED talk or learning a new skill on YouTube - how do you determine what should rise to the top? In order to prioritize activities, it's important to prioritize people. Who are the ones you love the most? Who would you do anything for? For us parents, the answer is usually our children. If you are married, it's also your spouse. If you are a widow, it might be your grandchildren. With more people at home, this is a great time to work on your end-of- life planning. What if something happened to you and your spouse, who would raise your kids? What if you were in the hospital and couldn't communicate your wishes? What if you were in a memory-care facility, but it made financial sense to sell your homestead? All of these scenarios could go more smoothly if important legal documents are executed properly - before it's too late. An unexpected pandemic makes us reflect on how precious life is and how important it is to protect the ones you love the most. I'd like to encourage you to use your time wisely by doing something that will give you long-term benefits and will be a wonderful gift to give your loved ones: clarity, time/cost savings and security. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to start with a 3-minute Fit Form. I can't wait to help you gain peace of mind by getting a plan in place.
